It has been awhile since I last wrote. I wanted to make sure I had the donation information ready to go. Which it is. If you are interested in sponsoring me in My Race Against CF, go to www.teresamullin.org and go to the Donate tab on the website. You can send a check or donate right online. In the comment section for the online donation, please note that you are sponsoring me in the marathon.
The website will also give you further information regarding my oldest sister and the book she wrote that has just been published. (The book can be found on Amazon.com.) Any donation would be appreciated. The donations will go toward the Teresa Anne Mullin and/or the Susan Patricia Mullin Boyle Memorial Funds. These funds will be used to further CF research and other means of furthering understanding, awareness, and movement towards a cure for Cystic Fibrosis.
As for an update on the marathon training - I will be going over the 200 mile mark this week. I woke up this morning at 6am to get a four mile slow run in before classes. With the days getting shorter, I have the fortune of watching the sun come up while I run. It also means that it is getting much colder. I think I actually saw my breath a few times this morning. It is a far reach from waking up at 7am or 8am over the summer to avoid running in 90 degree weather. This weekend is a nice 12 mile bout. Wish me luck. And for now...66 days until the Philadelphia Marathon!
