I would like to introduce and offer my gratitude to Tom and Cheryl Roberts of Harbor Lights Financial Group of the Lehigh Valley. In March of 2008, I offered the opportunity to "sponsor" me in the race at the silent auction at the 2008 Lehigh Valley Tennis Auction Ball. The Roberts, both avid runners and past finishers at the Lehigh Valley Half Marathon, made an extremely generous donation to the Lehigh Valley Chapter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation in order to sponsor me.
Luckily, I had the opportunity to meet
Roberts at the finish line as they were sitting in the front row cheering on all of the finishers. I feel truly blessed to know there are generous people like the Roberts who understand and support needed to fight Cystic Fibrosis in any way possible. Every race I run, my sisters are with me. Having my parents, my in-laws, and my siblings attending each race I have run has made me feel so loved and supported in this endeavor. Having the support of two people I had never met before was truly special and an experience I will never forget. Thank you for all of your support!
